The National Grid supply type of Other Renewables comprises the following:
- Advanced Conversion Technology (ACT)
- Anaerobic Digestion
- Landfill Gas
At present Other Renewables are responsible for about 2% to 3% of GB's electricity supply.
The generation forecast changed from FES2020 to FES2021, with an increase of up to about 50% on earlier forecasts in the short term, but settling back to a figure of around 10TWh in the second half of the 2020s, which will represent around 3% of demand.
